Just finished reading Omar El Akkad’s book “One day, everyone will have always been against this.” Tinged with hope
One of his many memorable lines is: “The machine swallows life and spits out convenience.”
But if all this wokeness prevails, who and what is left to manufacture convenience?

Maybe, but given ALP support expensive fossil-fuels at expense of cheap renewables, $368 Billion AUKUS, no affordable public housing, far-below poverty-line Jobseeker etc then really no diff. to LNP. If you want people to come before donors then Teals, Indies & Greens are the only way to go! #auspol

Here’s some thoughts on why patriarchal behaviourism is failing and why constructive mutualism (a “world without Caesars) is the cure.
More to come on constructive mutualism to bring it from the philosophical to the practical.
Welcome your thoughts…

5️⃣ Constructive mutualism isn’t new. There’s just not enough of it.
Look to your most trusted relationships for the blueprint.
When we model that trust, that’s where change begins.
What’s your take?

3️⃣ Politics will face a choice – followership or fascism.
4️⃣ If it chooses fascism, it will fail. It always does.
But how much damage happens first?
That’s the real question.

2️⃣ Change begins where you lead.
Practice constructive mutualism.
Build relationships on trust, shared values, and mutual accountability.
It’s how real change happens.

1️⃣ Politics is dominated by behaviourists.
Leaders who reward obedience and punish dissent.
Don’t wait for them to change.
Start asking harder questions now.

Yeah, I’m over it personally. But, until we - collectively - come to our senses and reduce consumption of Earth’s resources, climate change is here to stay.
