Tremors is extremely well-made. It’s a movie about carnivorous underground worms, but it does the nuts and bolts of movie making (well-defined characters, set-up/pay-off plot points, and witty dialogue) better than most prestige cinema…AND…exquisite Eastern Sierra cinematography.

I love that the Wakulla ‘volcano’ started this line of inquiry…that’s some quality FL lore.

I feel like Evolution is more obviously played for laughs. David Duchovny is pretty inspired in that role!

Hey, I am that person! I definitely never thought I would be in a federal lawsuit when I was hired… As soon as the good news came down, I was ready to go back. We are a family that cares about the mission and each other. Best job I’ve ever had!

There are major class action appeals to the MSPB in progress. Employee groups started moving on this within hours of the dust settling. Best to be part of the class and benefit from labor law professionals adding their talents. Info here: federalworkerrights.com/2025/03/06/c...

Thank you, Lynne. There's always one malcontent, right? Our family in EAR was shattered on Tuesday. The 3 disciplinary program leads (all powerhouse women) sat next to me in support as I was fired. Raleigh's post, knowing there are more terminations ahead, is a profoundly brave piece of advocacy.
