PJM has multiple means at its disposal for meeting load growth and maintaining resource adequacy by expanding new entry – my colleague Sarah Toth Kotwis and I contributed expert testimony to the RRI filing that highlights these alternate pathways, summarized in the waterfall chart below

TS Conductor (tsconductor.com) has addressed all of these concerns and more with their proprietary design. That's what puts them ahead of the general "advanced conductors" pack at the moment. We'll be deep-diving into why in RMI's forthcoming alternative transmission tech planning guides.

Not actively discussing here, but we've been active participants in PJM's RRI stakeholder process. We plan to submit comments to PJM especially wrt battery storage for surplus (due Wednesday 11/27) - DM me if you'd like to discuss!
