She sounds amazing! I was always too liberal to ever fit in, but I kept trying anyhow. It's tough to leave when you don't know something else exists, and you run the risk of losing everything. I walked away with only--but fortunately--my immediate family and the support of 1 sibling. Lost the rest!

Trump claims he has a mandate, and his followers believe it. The bigger the crowd, the more likely they are to question whether it's true. Threshold theory applies also--for those on the fence, it becomes safer to switch sides when enough others are doing it too. Safety in numbers sort of thing.

Christian Nationalism vs. Dark Enlightenment ideologies within the admistration provide a significant opportunity to create fractures. The factions are currently working together but have very different end goals. Along with the other resistance work, we should be creating wedges in this space.

Agreed. One list seemed intentionally designed to trick blue voters into blocking other blue voters. Tactics to disrupt blue organization? Most seem to be trolls.

On a different note, programs to help boys get to college might be useful. It's true our boys seem to be struggling. This should not come at the cost of women's hard fought accomplishments, though. It's a complex situation; treat it with the nuance it deserves.

Today, I think we're *fighting* for justice. Specifically today,on a population-wide level, I'm not finding it. My hope... Justice-focused individuals consistently making small impacts, groups and organizations coming together, will make a difference-- but it's just a start.

A past co-researcher said about a month ago that their grant with a good score was unlikely to be funded due to NIH concerns about this. Strange times we're living in. Sorry for those depending on the funding & and for the rest of us depending on the results of that research.

They also want to reduce the number of people attending college, particularly women. Students who can't pay the tax won't be able to accept the scholarship and may be financially unable to attend.
