Always nice to have proof of what we know to be true.
Sadly, for a lot of people this will mean "see ? Our bullying work, let's keep it up"

Well, maybe you try to divert your mind with something else.
Like, I dunno, talking about architecture that uses gear, something like that

To compare (and because I was playing it recently), I really liked how Sea of Stars managed stats, even if it gets a bit stale.
The mp gauge is tiny, and you have to manage a push and pull of using spells vs regular attacks that gives mp back and a boost resource vs charging team moves

Exactly.
Classic rpg design is steeped in the old ttrpg dungeon crawling idea of managing hp/mp (or spell slots) with small encounters to wear you down, but it often doesn't work and end up with spamming big spells and chugging items, which is why I find it obsolete unless deliberate (like D-rpg)

(Also, apologies for the long thread answer, I'm using it to get some random rpg thoughts out, that popped up while reading the thread and your answer)

All in all, have an incentive to use moves.
Have a reason to buff/debuff instead of full offense.
Status effect that are effective and fill turns between big booms.
And have the player think about their move, in addition to the action efficiency, if that makes sense.

As in, to me, spamming a weakness is not very interesting, and MP systems are outdated unless your game is about long term resource management.
So, I'm more of a believer of cooldowns, low mp but with big swings, limited uses per fight, or other resource types.

Tbf, basic attack is supposed to be more of a last resort of "save resource" move, which I believe is not great. Spammable free is its own issue, but I think one challenge in making rpgs is about having a meaningful choice system in actions.

Done playing.
The heart choice is definitively "both".
Lovely piece of DLC, can't believe it's free.
And now, can't wait to see what's coming next, Sabotage is really standing among my favourite studios, as is.

I've been bamboozled by the bangs, I was sure it was already that way, with white eyes for regular situations and black eyes when in murder mode

Yes, but only because I follow you and other individuals who talk about it, instead of regular media

Hi!
Just to be sure, how hard is the two years xp requirement ?
I know somebody who would be interested in this, but only worked on non "professional" projects

Oh, that's...
Surprisingly simple and obvious.
Thanks for the answer and sorry for the dumb question

Oh well, if you insist...
More seriously, related to your previous post, how do you properly say that you like someone's art style, because it reminds you of X ?
I understand it's daunting with repetition, so, just saying "cool art" is better ? With some details if feeling fancy ?

The one literally called the french communist party (pcf).
They were *technically* part of the New Popular Front, in order to get more votes, but were among the first to betray as soon as the elections were done.

Sadly it's not only a British thing.
For instance, the french "communist" party has been campaigning those last few years with things like "nationalism is good", "protect our workers (from immigration)", a focus on pork meat (guess why), and for this topic, a disdain for queer people.

Easy to jump in ?
Ma'am, this is comic land, we don't do easy to jump in.
(More seriously, the other comments already cover a pretty nice selection)

People say this ?
Might be my bubble but every post I've seen about that ending is talking about how fucked up it is, which was somewhat reassuring about how this movie is viewed.

Didn't so the coma at first and was picturing "man comics" as an actual published thing
Like some plot with a macho man character pushed to the extreme to make it funny, like they did for team fortress

I know it's clearly not the tone you're going for, but I can't help but picture next page as Lili rushing through the kitchen in "oh fuck, oh shit" mode, with Sunny in tow, to contrast how she was extremely okay with Aurora

Not an artist, but I've felt that for game making.
That you can't afford failure because it leads to invisibility, in a world where being known is crucial.
And there is a culture of having to be the very best and only show amazing work, to maybe get a shot at being payed to do it.
It's not great

J'ai du mal à croire ce post.
Pas pour le contenu, mais parce que ça implique qu'il existe des recruteurs qui répondent aux candidatures, et ça c'est une sorte de cryptide.
