Today, some pull requests (which were as much as 10 months old) were committed, solving the install/build issues, and I've closed all my open issues.

Their VSCode plug-in is actually quite cool, and it might be useful for new users to start there instead of pico-setup.
But it doesn't do a good job of importing existing projects built the old way.

In case you're curious, here is a link to the crowdfunding project page... it's pretty cool:

There were several unreleased games they wrote for PC Engine/TurboGrafx in the 1990-1992 period, so it would be interesting to possibly find one.
Do you have a plan/approach for how to determine which system and game they are ?
Perhaps pattern-match for existing games first to classify ?

23.7 words per page ?
Are you sure that summary isn't generated by AI ?

However, the capture buffer is limited, and it's worse if your core uses a lot of BRAM already.

Do you mean in a single directory ? That would also be a problem for a local share (though less obvious on a PCIe5 SSD).

On the flight portion, it looks like "Mode7" type graphics, again an affine transform adjusted per raster...
comment in response to

Probably a combination - there is an affine transform (especially enlarge/reduce) on the KING layers, but it's also probably software too.
You'll notice the walls don't have patterns, and the angles don't change - so a lot less to actually calculate than it might appear.

Usually enabling debug only fixes/masks issues related to:
- stack frame abuse
- some race conditions
(I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of any more at the moment)

Agreed - lots of cool projects already published for it.
I'm sure it'll (eventually) be available at all the regular places selling Pimoroni products, but for now it seems like they're having trouble just keeping them in stock.

Second is Pimorono Presto (PIM725).
Both are still in stock at thepihut.com (for the moment, at least).

No, the worst is when the bug completely goes away when you simply compile with debug options, and no other changes.

There are still use cases for AI - even including LLMs - I'm just mentioning a potential risk if somebody is using one for any sort of true/false fact check or historical information research (beyond the garden variety hallucinations).

Looks like the earliest F2 game came out in 1988, so it's almost guaranteed that it showed up first in Famicom games (the DIP package is also a giveaway that it's older than other parts of the F2 board).

I agree, Canadian ones would be nice.
(Europe seems to have some, but that’s not so nearby)

TRS socket looks like it's for both headphones and optical output, which is interesting (but not for driving speakers directly).
