I kinda like making flow-charts, nobody tell the shrinks, they'll think I'm having fun. š¤£

The migraine, which spent all day yesterday telling me how much it hates the smell of medical offices, is currently having a tantrum over the air freshener. I really hate living around people, even ones I like.

Americans' views of Cause of Being Gay or Lesbian, 1977-2025.
"Born with" as the cause is at 13% in 1977, squiggles upward to 40% in 2005 or so, then up to 50% at 2015, then down to 45% now.
"Upbringing/Environment" as the cause starts at 56% in 1977, down to 30% in 2015, now back up to 38%.

If you're going "Good, covid is over," you should know that it's also making me doubt my political perspective. I dunno, maybe there are no uncorrupted facts anymore. Maybe I've just turned into a lefty version of the rapture ready folks. Maybe it's all AI. Maybe it doesn't matter if I do anything.

My societal fears are easier for doctors to dismiss, they tend to be doing pretty well and are often fairly conservative, I've found. But I shouldn't have to be battling uphill with *doctors* over masking in grocery stores, much less pharmacies.
It's making me doubt myself.

Worries about getting sick have never been a feature of my issues, nor have they been in evidence till covid. So my masking isn't paranoia, at least not clinically. And it seems demeaning to ignore that it is a real world event and that my fears have evidence behind them.

She advised me that with the nitrous we should be going with a "light, floaty feeling" and I nodded and still went for *completely ignoring reality*. Like: Doctors anyway, but then on top of it, dental work. Light and floaty isn't getting me out of there with no nail marks in my palms.
