I love coffee. So much. And that looks like an excellent way to have your coffee in the evening. I’m in.

Obviously not a single employee of the government should respond. (Easy for me to say). But I do feel like 100% resistance would be …problematic for Doge.

He was. But he was voted off the island. He doesn’t like to talk about that.

Unironic question: where exactly do Democrats amplify these messages? In a fractured media environment with mainstream outlets cowed, where do you get the biggest bang for the buck?
Seriously do Dems start showing up on Joe Rogan?
How do you break through?

Rich men linger at the summit of Mount Stupid far too long. The worst decide to live there.

I was thinking exactly this. What happens if the unemployment rate soars or the jobs created goes negative? They could try to “cook the books” as the right accused the Democrats. But that’s hard. It has to be internally consistent. It would take work.
Simply not releasing the numbers is easier.

At the risk of quoting Gladwell, it does feel like we’ve reached a tipping point. We’ve rocked back and forth with what felt like relative stability — because we always tipped back. Maybe not now.

I suppose if pennies start to vanish then stores will just naturally start setting prices in increments of .05. Probably starting tomorrow.

They say the water is warmer than the air. I will leave it to “them” and you to confirm that while I sit here ☕️

In this climate I’d say this proposal has a negative chance of occurring. More likely POTUS issues an EO forcing the Commanders to revert to their previous name.

Nice! But it sounds familiar. Did you get this from an LLM?

“Essentially” is doing a lot of work there. Not that read-only would be acceptable either.

Wow! Congratulations on the well deserved recognition from the AP. (Also thanks to my alma mater for doing this piece)

I’m aware that we’re asking people, especially those at retirement age, not to abandon their posts when we need them the most. But it’s disheartening to see that the folks who keep the lights on are walking out the door and allowing a new regime to turn the lights out.

It did make we wonder: who “officially” names anything? Especially in the US where most of that sort of stuff falls to the states or localities. But who names the Gulf of Mexico? Or French Fries 😉

Unless I’m wrong, Zuckerberg was an honest to goodness coder. He really did build The Facebook v1.0. Of course he did turn towards a monopoly vision buying Instagram and WhatsApp.

I enjoy your writing and I wish you the best of luck. My hope is that you continue to be an independent and reliable voice. However, if you find that the Post is not in the end a place that allows you to express yourself freely, that you quickly pull the plug and move on.
