He wants full control of the government without any of the limits of courts or the separation of powers. How is that not authoritarianism?

Because it looks nice but it has absolutely nothing of substance?

I have a legitimate question I hope someone can answer. I live close to the border of my district. My Congressman is a Democrat, who I proudly voted for, but my neighboring district is Republican, currently (swing district). Can I show up to town halls at both or do I need to be in their district?

Now, if you could just invest in some warmer weather, I'd be glad to move there. But seriously, Minnesota is lucky to have you.

Somehow, some way, he will blame it on the Democrats. If the Democrats hadn't messed up the economy, this coin would be worth a lot more. Or something like that.

I fully believe the US should give this virus serious attention and that it is a threat, to humans, to our livestock, and to our economy. That being said, when can we stop calling it "bird flu?" If it is affecting other species, I think it needs a new name. Anyone agree?

Yeah, that tracks

Dude, I almost blocked you because I thought you were saying that to me and you were MAGA. If you are going to insult Trump, please say "Trump is a cunt" to prevent future confusion.

Very difficult. The Supreme Court can't argue against amendments. They are in the Constitution, so they can't be considered unconstitutional. Plus, the Supreme Court has gone against him before, especially when he goes against the Constitution.

Oh, I get that, but some rules are easier to break than others. How many Americans know or understand that Trump needed to inform Congress 30 days before firing inspectors general? I didn't. How many know Trump is limited to 2 terms? Pretty much everyone.

Let's not forget this little gem from his first term. This was while protestors were being tear-gassed so he could get this photo op.

A 3rd term requires a constitutional amendment, which requires a 2/3 vote in both houses. That will never happen. There aren't even enough Democratic Senate seats up for grabs in 2026 to give Republicans that supermajority, so Dems would need to vote for Trump's third term. Not a chance.

I didn't realize the percentage of people who didn't vote was so high. If Congress needs 2/3 majority to pass amendments, we should need 2/3 of Americans to vote for the election to even count.

The one I got was an actual Trump one. I have wished countless times it was a voodoo doll.

Plus, amendments need 2/3 of both chambers. Republicans have a slim majority and nowhere near enough votes to get that through, especially since it will only appeal to Trump.

I have one. I bought it during his first term. I needed something to throw against the wall when he did something like this.

Don't make it today. It needs to be an organized effort. If Meta sees their numbers drop by one or two, they won't care. One or two every day, they still won't care. We need to organize, spread the word, and have millions of us leave on the same day. That is how we get their attention.

I didn't know Warner voted for this. I will be writing him tonight. Virginia needs to be represented by compassionate senators, not ones who vote for hate filled laws like these

Social media companies come and go. The void will be filled. A lot of people seem to be going to RedNote, another Chinese app, just out of spite.

Not significantly better, but more conservative Republican rather than MAGA. If they didn't disagree with him, there wouldn't have been a court case where he tried to have them removed from the trust that will control his companies after he passes away.

Thank you Congressman Scott for representing Virginia. I was proud to vote for you and I look forward to watching you do so much for us. Also, I really wanted to thank you for the email poll asking us what we want you to focus on. It's nice to know our representative is really representing us.

Spotify should have blocklists like Blue Sky. If her songs are in a playlist, it just skips them.

That too. He probably thinks he's hot 💩 though.

Yeah, but he won't freeze because he's always full of hot air.

I really think the propaganda is one of the biggest issues. It felt like Trump used more grassroots tactics and Harris stuck to traditional methods. We need a candidate with different strategies and we need a party that can counter the lies on X without giving them more power.

In terms of the Fox News thing, that will hopefully change in the future since Rupert Murdoch lost his court case. Now he just has to pass away so control can go to his children.

6 months too late, but at least he's getting sentenced.
