With Azem, they likely left it ultimately up to us how they were and such. But I do like seeing the Canon tidbits we get.
Like how our Azem was well-respected and capable but lordy how many people wanted to strangle them at the same time.
(Hades and Lahabrea included on that)

I do like the universal Canon idea people have come up with that a lot of Azems have unique robes or outfits they wear while traveling.
Hopefully we'll get more Canon bits in DT soon!

I think it was Hades and Themis that both said, with exceptions depending on the place, hoods and masks are normally up and on.
Places like Elpis and Pan, they need to be aware of their surroundings so its not taboo.
Even in the Convocation hall, they don't wear mask and hood.

With Azem? I imagine it is hard.
With the others, especially in the city, it might be easier to dodge the gossip and rumors.

I feel like...with the Convocation, there was the stuff they could tell the public as opposed to what they could not. (Trying to recall if it was Hades or Themis that mentioned that)
I imagine, like the situation with Hermes, stuff like the transfer of office is kept under wraps for reasons.

I feel like, too, being with Azem and Hyth also forced him to think outside of his personal space and the guidelines of his office.
Which is why I think he stormed out when our WoL told their story. To apply some logic to the seemingly unlogical situation.
