Trump pardoned the sentence of arguably the single biggest drug trafficker in American history on his second day in office!

The others need to form a G6.

Mitch McConnell announced his retirement after 40 years of working hard to make Kentucky one of the poorest, most under-educated, and unhealthy states in the US.

For every $1 the IRS spends auditing the top 1%, it can collect $13. For every $1 the IRS spends auditing the top 0.1%, it can collect $26. Laying off 7,000 IRS employees (during tax season) isn't about efficiency. It's about making it easier for the rich to evade taxes.

DOGE recommended firing workers at: -FDA, which oversees Neuralink -FAA, which oversees SpaceX -USAID, which probed Starlink -CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X. "Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

US can’t “hand” Ukraine to putin. Contrary to what russia wants you to believe, Ukraine is a sovereign state. US, or nobody else for that matter , doesn’t ‘own’ us. Yes, russia invaded us and, indeed, occupied some of our land - through force and murder . But Ukraine is, and will remain, free.

An important reminder, since people are wrongly freaking out: Small private planes crash all the time. The Philly crash, the Alaska crash, this one — all count as such. There are 1,000 small plane crashes a year. This is normal. Them making headlines is what is scaring you.

To oppose one’s own country. What a strange position for an American to be in. But bcuz Trump/the United States has decided to stand with Putin, I have no choice. Bcuz I stand with Ukraine, NATO & the free world. Strange, yes. But my country is siding with the invader/dictator. My country is wrong.

"Just one more thing. You say you're the law and order president, yet you released 1,500 rioters. You claim to support the police, but many of those rioters attacked them. Now you're firing FBI agents and prosecutors. Frankly, Mrs. Columbo thinks you're a criminal."

Never book another #AirBnB!

@thebulwark.bsky.social I may have misheard it but I think the Bulwark podcast just called Hannity’s interview with Trump and Musk a “Hannjob.”

Castro would be proud

“A walking conflict of interest… $20 Billion in 🇺🇸 government contracts…” www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Shame on you, CBS. In this report, the correspondent explains that “DOGE is in the middle of streamlining the government.” Is that what amputation and lobotomy are? “Streamlining?” youtu.be/kMIDDbXzgKo?...

-The Question: How the hell did we get here? -The Answer: Citizens United.

Go ahead. Let the people see you for what you are.

Id really love a headline along the lines of “Top Official REFUSES to exit after clash with DOGE over data.”

Whether it’s Mussolini making the trains run on time or Donald Trump making the planes crash, both fascist dictators showed a strong interest in transportation.

I don’t quite get why they assume this horror show is a “botched” job. It’s perfectly in line with the whole of Trump’s first weeks in office.

It’s hard to live in a time when most things are owned or controlled by the worst people.

I know I've said this before on the other website, but Republican Russia hawks are funny because Moscow had an elite team of intelligence experts determine the best way to hurt America and buddy, it was your party winning elections.

Gotta make sure more people see the ad than would’ve if it’d run in the Washington Shitpost.

Normalize pronouncing DOGE as DOUCHE.

The Washpost, which is bleeding millions of dollars and shrinking its staff, accepted -- and then rejected -- a $115,000 ad that criticized Elon Musk. Anyway, here's the ad that the Post's business side didn't want its readers to see ⤵️ thehill.com/media/514849...

The Trump official currently dismantling USAID was caught in a secret meeting with a group of pro-Russian separatists in the Balkans. Those he met with are under American sanctions for trying to restart the Bosnian war in the name of Christian nationalism. 1/
