You forget that this all started with Trump back in August of 2020 when he signed an executive order banning the app. Shortly after that he signed another executive order requiring the sale of TikTok.

I live in Maryland, in particular Montgomery County where this issue was raised by some parents. The reason this became such an issue is because parents of 5th graders here are able to opt their children out of “sex ed” and feel they should be able to do the same for LQBTQ “topics” being discussed.
