and the people running the campaigns? soulless, cynical hacks who need to be shot into the sun.

and jagmeet singh and the ndp seem to revel in their failure and incompetence. in a time when they should be gaining seats it looks like they'll be lucky to hold onto official party status.

it's cold comfort that it looks like the snivelling loser who wore a suit to his undergrad poli sci classes won't be prime minister. however, mark carney is the perfect embodiment of the soulless, technocratic, uber-capitalist Liberal party I hate.

If you're not familiar with my case, want to learn more and have the ability to help out it's all at my GoFundMe. This fundraiser is in response to a politically-motivated police investigation against me. gofund.me/1837ad98

while we don't yet have the details of what any alleged inquiry into the Dodgy Contracts Scandal will look like McFee will be in a high level, high leverage position as it unfolds. that's worth consideration and perhaps some further questions.

McFee appears to have a prior relationship with MHCare. the company has made substantial donations to his pet causes and projects as police chief.

the Dodgy Contracts Scandal is, fundamentally, a whistleblower scandal. a high level civil servant believes she was told to do things she believes were illegal. she says she was then fired for taking their concerns up the chain of command.

ok so why does this matter? dale mcfee is set to be the top civil servant in alberta starting feb. 22. he's now the boss of andre tremblay, the ceo of ahs and the deputy minister of health. he will be intimately involved at the highest levels of responding to this crisis.

dale does have a history of consorting with ucp politicians on his personal time. he attended a fundraiser in 2020 where UCP MLAs dressed up in T-Rex costumes and raced each other at a horse track in lacombe. www.theprogressreport.ca/edmonton_pol...

there's also the matter of dale mcfee's alleged attendance at at least one edmonton oilers playoff game alongside ucp cabinet members. i can't confirm this but it is worthy of further inquiry by people better positioned than me to ask questions.

This Linkedin post talks about MHCare's financial support of the EPS and Edmonton Police Foundation on the conference mentioned above and "several other initiatives."

but the financial ties between MHCare and McFee/EPS don't stop there. the health supply company also sponsored the Bustin' for Badges fundraiser.

i don't have the exact numbers of what that sponsorship would cost but it would be findable. that conference was an excuse for dale to fly in police buddies and pliant academics from around north america to talk about how great a job they're doing at harassing unhoused people.
