Is this because of the Faerin and Anduin situation among others? It kinda made me perk a brow a little

And to write something that was part of an internal nature of another force for a while already, and its part in the cosmos, to then put it elsewhere as some people are suggesting hurts the possibility of having different flavours of choices and decisions coming from different places.

Free will, more or less shaped by our surroundings, is not something exterior to the situations we are at, not even for the longest time for the forces as they were written. I believe that to make it a force on itself defeats the purpose of the agents themselves as the actuators and creators of it.

I see it as weirdly bringing free will as an alien psychosomatic that doesn't exalt personal stories for freedom, but appears to disrupt any sort of establishment from before, excused in the fact fantasy is not reality. I feel it ultimately kills gravitas and writing in favour of anti-mindcontrol.

I think it dilutes the capability of free choice within the other forces and their contradictions and flanderises them into teams of hooligans.

I feel making azeroth the free will lamp takes away from the other forces of the wow cosmology and their internal contradictions. the infighting of the void and the "supposed" departure from the goals it "may" have does not necessitate this, it's weird to make it something exterior.

This is literally what I indicated when people were whining about her during the release announcement of TWW when they started whining about her the first.

no not that. It's more about me reading homestuck and informing myself about it and finding it genius good and wholesome
comment in response to post
This is why my opinion of Homestuck grows better and better every day but I'm not going to elaborate on that.

What cannot be, however, is that you end up absolutely imposing something that people need to or have to interact with a way or another, and shut down the feedback or the input of people who may be more hyperfixated than you, the writer.

I think faction difference should be enough of a reason, without having to put the war back in warcraft in the most sanguinary way people imagined.

It's the bane of Horizontal Writing and developing something Else instead of what is already there. It tires me so.

I think the reading of Sun worshipping is not correct, I feel people are taking it too literally when it is an allegory That said, I agree it would be better suited for the people who had an already established religion for it.
