Some great drone footage of MalmΓΆ and NFC - and proof that I did do some public fursuiting!

Going straight back to work the day after returning from NFC was a terrible idea... Sometimes I really wish I wasn't a team lead. Then I could more easily keep a low profile.

Just got home from NFC. House didn't burn down, wasn't flooded, and nothing was stolen! πŸ‘

OK - NFC Dead Dog party was the most fun I've had all con πŸ˜€

Decided to leave the last full night of NFC "early" (about 20 past midnight) as I just wasn't feeling it... πŸ˜”

Last full night of the con, and it really confirmed that I need a new fursuit. One that's comfortable, and doesn't end up hurting me. One I actually look forward to wearing. I usually have fun once I'm in it, but it's always more of a chore than it should be. Doesn't inspire casual suiting up.

It's nice to see so many spandex-based fursuits at NFC. Haven't seen a single uyoe fursuit yet though (outside of pup-style hoods).

NFC's going well so far, I was out raptoring earlier today which was fun, but I don't feel up for doing it again tonight. I really wish it was more comfortable. Heat isn't a problem - my shoulders end up really complaining. The material isn't stretchy at all, and the pressure gets a bit too much.

Finally started my journey to NFC - relaxing in the airport before my flight πŸ™‚

My introversion can be frustrating. I feel like I straddle the line of introvert and extrovert (certainly more "I"), but can lean over into "E" with the right people in the right place. So that's good. Then I get anxious about meeting new people at cons and having fun, and feel myself closing up πŸ˜•

I'm promising myself that I'm going to buy *something* at the NFC dealer's den. I never buy things at cons. Given the size, and the fact it's a new con and country for me, feels like something I should do.

Today's therapy session was... quite impactful. I'll certainly take my time processing this one. It feels insane for me to consider this (part of the reason I'm doing it), but I kinda want to get my first tattoo. As a symbol of being more authentic. Not yet, though.

Got home to a 30C house... I guess my thermostat has finally given up!

Trying not to be too grumpy this morning. Penultimate day of 11 hotel nights for work, 3rd in this hotel. Woke up slightly cold (again), and too early with noise in the corridor, and unloading in the street outside. Want to go home now. Just one more day...

That's the third hotel in one week checked into... Thankfully, the last. Well, except for the NFC hotel in a little over 3 weeks..! (I'm actually looking forward to that one)

Urgh *sofa flops* Just got home after an almost 3 hour drive - been away from home since Sunday for work. 40 minute work drive tomorrow, to another hotel. Then Sunday, total of probably 3.5hrs drive to another hotel for work for 3 more nights. One night at home in 12. At least this is rare...

It's *so weird* to me for people to consider the thumb a "finger". It just feels very wrong. I don't have "3 finger" hands. I have 2 fingers and a thumb.

Currently spending *way* too much money on fur samples for the next fox head... πŸ˜…

*Damn* I wish I was an ideas person! I'm excited to get more into cosplay (events, photos, and short films), new or existing characters. I can think of things I could do, and think "yeah that'd be cool", but I really struggle to get captivated by any of my ideas. So I don't end up doing anything.

Do you ever wear little fursuit/costumey things around the house casually? I want to do more of that, little things that don't get in the way, but add a little bit of fun to the day. What sort of stuff? I spend so much time in the house (working etc.), may as well make the most of the isolation!

Has anyone seen any fun B-movie creature feature films recently? (practical suits/prosthetics, not cg) They don't even have to be good, just fun πŸ˜› I'm in the mood for something, but I've seen a bunch already and I'm not sure where to turn!

It's becoming ever more clear to me that multitasking is a myth. I can do maybe 2-3 *completely unrelated* tasks interleaved, but when they're related, they trample all over each other becoming a muddy mess πŸ˜› E.g. I'm looking at fur samples while discussing work github actions issues. That's fine.

I just wanted to say, thanks for such an amazing positive response to my fursuit head πŸ™‚. I originally didn't intend to share it, waiting for a later version without so many faults, but it turned out better than I expected, so what the hell. It's really given me a boost to push on, thanks! πŸ˜€
