For me, it kept me alive. I grew up in an extremely religious household, where I had 0 privacy. The only time I got to express myself was at my desk, drawing. It was my lifeline, and I found purpose in it. I've used that lifeline to get my Bachelors and pursue my dreams, but this is still my hobby.
