Postscript: The Dakota 38+2 Memorial Ride and Run is held annually at the site of the hangings. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz participated in the event in 2017 and issued an apology for the executions and other acts committed against the Dakota people.

I like George Conway's take on Hegseth.
He thinks the generals could take care of any threat he poses by simply keeping him well supplied with alcohol while on the job.
