I keep thinking back to the much-ridiculed Nick Griffin interview circa 2008/9 when he repeatedly insisted there was "no such thing as a black Welshman". How depressing that supposedly mainstream right-wingers should now parrot that sort of nonsense themselves.

It escalated quickly, didn't it. Suella Braverman appears to have overnight normalised a proposition that was, until fairly recently, confined mostly to blood-and-honour neo-Nazi circles.

These intricate threads/discussions positioning Labour figures on the political spectrum are exactly the kind of thing I come here (and went to the old place) for. I’m sat at my desk, grinning into my phone and hoping I don’t have explain why to my colleagues.

Both parties participated and kept that injustice going by the way, this is a late attempt to put something right (in a limited way) by Labour.
