He held up his phone and asked if he was intruding. I assured him he wasn’t (and he wasn’t). I left shortly after. Heard enough later to believe they both made decisions they regretted that night. Like the heated political debate wasn’t a clue.

I hung out with a female friend from college when a male friend from HS sat down by and started arguing/flirting with her. He was conservative, she a militant liberal (oddly, they’ve since flipped). I tried to text a 3rd friend who knew them both about how weird it was but texted the guy instead.

Apparently they signed a deal with Tesla to install chargers at some of their restaurants. I actually like Steak 'n Shake, though it must be said I went last fall for the first time in years (I had a gift card), and I've never, ever, been in a clean one. They are all constantly filthy.

I'm one of 5 people who genuinely enjoys Arby's as food and not just as a laxative. That said, I rarely eat fast food. (Little Caesars is trash, but damn, 90s Little Caesars, especially the K-Mart restaurants, rocked. Kids these days will never know.)

America was built on the idea that power belongs to the people, not a throne. So if you find yourself longing for a ruler instead of a president, I have to ask—what exactly is it that you love about this country? Because it’s sure not the democracy our founders fought for.

They still think “Born in the USA” is a patriotic anthem. Still, despite that becoming a cliche. You defund public education, and you decrease a people’s ability to read critically.

People who think Illinois is Democrat just because of Chicago: my district is one of the single-most conservative in the Midwest. That includes Missouri and the hell-scape known as Indiana.
