Poor little thing :(

Look it wouldn’t work here, we have earthquakes and mountains and extreme weather and we’re an island nation….

I worked in a small computer store. From all the hard work put in over many years it wasn’t too big a deal. I think there might have been some bios updates etc, but there were bigger weird problems like the capacitor issue, incompatibilities with intel vs amd, and moving from win 98 to millennium&xp

Does sound like you’ve run that joke into the ground…

Yeah, seemed pretty unique! There’s some other rail related stuff in their other recent posts too. Here is a direct link www.facebook.com/share/TwFaAk...

There’s that phrase, people on bikes want everyone else to ride bikes, people in cars want no one else to drive cars…

I have one too that you can use, was just a cheap one from Bunnings I think?

I was told once that pencil (is it pencil? Or pen? Or both?) widths are to the same ratio. So you can draw a line on an a4 sheet, enlarge to a3, and continue drawing the same line with the next size up pen(cil). It’s such a perfect idea I don’t want to google it and find it’s wrong.

Yeah, I was really confused by the two lock systems. They make it sound easy then it feels like none of the models are supported. Jolly Bikes in Thames helped me out by ordering the matching frame lock, was very reasonable, two other well thought of stores said it wasn’t possible.

Yeah. Variety in tools needed. Locks don’t stop a bike being stolen, they buy time, inconvenience and noise. I figure my locks would take maybe three minutes if they were determined and with the right tools. Might order a folding lock too, take it up to three and a half minutes.

Yeah, lots of the white poles can just be lifted out of the ground. www.cyclewellington.org.nz/better_bike_...

This guide is a decent start www.consumer.org.nz/articles/bik... I have a abus 540 keyed the same to a cafe wheel lock, and an 8mm chain that plugs into the cafe wheel lock. Decent combination.

The fancy way if they have a Bosch system with a compatible battery lock is to get the key for your bike locks to match the key for the battery. Locks need to be custom ordered but it’s cool to only need one key

I think the sign on the awning is still there, above where the entrance used to be

The gambling mechanics built into it are really something else huh?

There must have been something to spread it, maybe those artsplash events? Maybe school journals?

I miss them too. It is something I have looked up recipes for and then thought no, that is knowledge I shouldn’t have.

Nice one

Good to know, thanks. My other backup plan is to hire a cityhop van to take it where I need it to be, but that might be a bit more hassle.

Will be interested to hear how it goes for you. My emergency plan is to join on the spot if needed for my bike!

Absolutely, I still want stuff to work even if there’s silliness. I should move the few automations I have to home assistant instead of using the vendor provided apps.
