And learn how to spell Israel.

Is your argument is that Biden had to violate arms export laws in order to uphold Israel weapons laws? That's absurd, and also untrue. The 2008 law in question only requires oversight to ensure that sales to other countries don't undermine Israel's QME. www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/legal-requir...

When did he do that?

As I already pointed out, Biden himself asserted the power to stop a congress-approved weapons transfer. He used this power briefly in May 2024. The law obligated him to stop weapons transfers to Israel. But I'm glad you at least admit congress was also complicit in the war crimes.

NSM-20 was put in place as a guide for adhering to existing laws. You want specific laws?Let's try again:

US bombs killed Palestinian kids, and Biden kept sending them, in violation of the law. If minimizing it helps you feel comfortable with that, go ahead.

I gave you several sources describing the laws that Biden violated. Were you expecting a link to a court case where Biden was convicted of crimes? US and International law prohibits the US from sending weapons to a country that uses them to commit war crimes. Biden sent them anyway.

And yes, Biden had the power to stop the weapons transfers. He used this power briefly in May 2024 over war crime fears (then folded). abcnews.go.com/Politics/bid... He also used emergency powers to bypass congress in order to speed up weapons transfers in late 2023. apnews.com/article/us-i...

I mean if you're trying to do someone a favor but you still feel the need to ask "do you know why I pulled you over" then it's still fully deserved.

I caught myself singing about my pancreas a few times yesterday. Going to listen to Brian Wilson's back catalogue over the weekend to remember both the hits and the underappreciated gems.

I made a guess and a quick Google suggests I was right. I thought something about the rear fender clued me in, but it's probably more a case of guessing a popular donor car from the right era. It didn't strike me as a Fiero so there weren't a lot of other options that would make sense.

The alternative is that they're saying Trump isn't a threat and you don't need to worry about anything he does. Not great messaging either way.

You said to focus on real Democratic fuckups so I did? Glad you agree he sucks, I hope the party as a whole recognizes that.

Sincere question. Do you think having qualifications is more important than having a strong moral compass?

Is this the woman who's replied endlessly to every post demanding you block someone who supports your partner, and showed up to your office in her underwear? It sounded like you still tried to have a conversation with her which is honestly impressive, but jeez, you shouldn't have to deal with that.

For me it's the fact that it gets away with being called reality TV, when telling a true story is completely outside the scope of it.

Does anyone have the link to the contents of this amendment? I'd like to have it available for anyone who might claim this amendment included anything other than the citizen deportation limitation.

Carrier pigeons are pretty cool. But my vote is for signal boxes, for controlling rail switches and signals. At small junctions they can look pretty simple, but at a large station they're kind of amazing. youtu.be/3T8cyPkzDmo?...

They used to play this on my local radio station uncensored, but they've also played it censored. I don't know if they decided to stop playing the uncensored version or if they just play whatever version they happen to find first. I don't know how radio playlists work.

There's a certain type of person these days who finds 'racist' to be a hilarious replacement for 'racing' or 'race driver', not realizing (or maybe caring) how it reads to everyone not in on the "joke". I've been seeing it for a while and it got old immediately.
