Idk, I'm pretty sure that if we reduce meat eating by 90% we're good actually. No additional land would be needed.

Honestly.. they chose an interesting crowd. I seriously hope someone from the community commits some questionable actions against this spammers infra. All for educational purpose and by means of talk preparations, of course. 😇

Same, this is cringe and gold at the same time.

First batch done. The #WHY2025 colours are completely coincidental 🫣

Nice, so how did you design the layout in your controller, some design tool to help you map in 3d space or something?

What did you use for designing led orientation for the animations?

Nee! Maar wat een klap, niet normaal. Verschrikkelijk voor die mensen ook

We've already established that it's a very hard problem to solve.

It had nothing to do with AI, it's a completely different neural network

Neither can your eyes, it's the brain that makes the distinction, which is the same for any substitute for humans. So in essence, your Cayote drawing applies to human drivers as well. We don't have a LiDAR sensor, after all

I think the model being used for recognition of things is simply not nearly as advanced enough. I don't think he was wrong about its potential. Just about how complicated it would be. Having a good offline model, would provide plenty of privacy, yet would still be capable of adding safety

And I do like it here on BlueSky, but I think we should all be honest. And I feel I am convincing more people on twitter. BlueSky sometimes feels like a bit of a bubble of people who mostly agree with me.

I wonder if "Maga2025!" Was in there. Asking for a guy.

feel free to hate all you want, but I'm not doing a round of whattaboutism.

Productivity is notoriously hard to measure. But I use it on occasion to read more about a topic. Just today about an H-bridge and back-EMF, earlier this week more about the pets of Pippi Longstockings. And last week about the history of Legoland Billund. Worth a few euros, to me.

If they save an hour per week of work, it would be a decent ROI in the wealthy western world. I'm assuming you refer to Google's AI Pro? It also includes 30TB of cloud storage and YT premium. So if you need /use that, it's a small added premium.

I don't think it's relevant to anyone tbh. It's middle of the curve nonsense.

That.. doesn't seem like a reason to not build offshore wind. Something, something different harbours around the world.

1, 2 and 3 sum up to "no wonder Open AI is insolvent, look at how Altman's using kitchen utensils wrong". And you are probably right that this isn't a correct labelling of an Ad Hominem, and I'm not being too pedantic about it. But this thread is going completely off point.
comment in response to post
I'm utterly confused. Are we talking about the same article, where Altman is being grilled because of his Cooking, which has nothing to do with him running OpenAI, yet that's the snarky remark at the end of this opinion piece. How is this not exactly what you describe? 🤷‍♂️

'''If that's any indication of how he runs the company, insolvency cannot be considered too unrealistic a threat.''' That is fallacy reasoning to personally attack an individual. I'm not trying to be clever, i just point out what I read.

It's just an Ad Hominem rant, I don't see any value in it, other people being petty. People get pedantic about food related stuff, but honestly. it's so meaningless. If you can care about these trivialities in life, you're living a great one.
