Living and working in London's iconic East End. Rekindled my fondness for film photography and home development. Dabbler, definitely π€π€

Thank you G. I'll describe it as serendipity ππ½π

Thank you for your responses. Iβll have another attempt this evening with a 120 film that is unimportant (in case itβs the chemistry or a noob error on my part. Iβll also try to get the chemicals warmer to try to hit 39C more consistently.

Absolutely fantastic, @georgeg.bsky.social - I think my favourite is the multiverse (? - actually, an apt description) iconic power station photo. ππ½

I'm sure I have some lying around π€ no, this isn't as many as I know I have. There must be a couple of #Zorki, definitely a #Zenit, a #Penti ... #smena8 #praktica #lubitel #helios #pentacon Back in the #CCCP π°οΈβοΈπ₯

I love my little gold Penti II, but I am done with the rapid cartridge system. Clearly, it was a solution looking for a non existent problem π€ππ€£

Knowing nothing about this, but unless it's ortho, does the clear vs red window make a difference with the backing paper?

I bought this about four years ago with the intention of developing that Vision 200T - I donβt see an expiry date, so Iβm going to assume itβs still going to be fine if I do get around to experimenting with it ππΌπ€©

Bless you @paulasmith.co.uk - that's a shot of me where I don't think I look too shabby. I love this composition. You are a genius π₯°

So winding the film on, got to the lead-in to shot 1 (where the 35mm film is taped), and the film snagged and ripped the backing ππ After faffing and fettling, rescued some shots. Pure coincidence that it was 127 day yesterday, zero artistic merit, but I will be ready for the next 127

The negatives look OK, I treated it as Foma 400 120 and developed according to massive dev with HC110 1+31. During the pre-soak (and the dev and stop too) there was a vivid emerald green colour coming out of the tank. The edge of the negative says βULTRA 400β.

I love the reflection in the puddle (perhaps "lake" would be a more appropriate word for that body of water π€) ππ½

Mine was in the back of the cupboard with the other chemicals. The 'test' of the Rodinal and FD10 - develop offcut film leaders - were complete failures. Hopefully, I will 'master' HC110 development ππ½ππ½π€£

You decide π€£ I am just paranoid after the loss of the two films to the Rodinal that no longer works.

IKR. It was the PN919 plastic fantastic ultra wide clone. ππ½

True. Unfortunately, it looks like the same story with the HC 110 (exp 2022) and FD 10 (exp 2021) π€£

Thank you for this. This is undiluted Rodinal, 1 minute. I'm not sure if the picture shows it, but I can see through the 'developed' dots to see the text on the bottle.
comment in response to

All the film was completely clear, so the Rodinal is clearly exhausted. In fairness, it was manufactured in 2019, open for at least four years or more and the colour of the dilution was Tizer, so with hindsight I should have done a test before bunging two rolls through it π€£

So I need to bin the Rodinal then? It did have a very large layer of something gloopy at the bottom of the bottle, which I probably shouldn't have shaken up π€£
