Getting people back to theatres seems simple to me: Make it cheaper, incl. parking, snacks No ads (aside from trailers) before the film Keep smaller films in theatres longer so we have time to find them Cross-promote/incentivize w nearby businesses so people feel inclined to make a night of it.
