Tariff update. Found out today my primary e-bike vendor will be increasing the price of all new 2025 models tomorrow $300 - (30–15%) depending on the model. Older models already in the US won’t be impacted and are on sale until April 17. Haven’t heard from any other vendors.

My store sells recreational products. Yale just forecasted that this will cost over $3500 a year. That’s $3500 families don’t have to spend on my goods which are lower priority that food and essentials. Add in a higher product cost it’s going to make difficult for people to make these purchases.

I own a store that sells e-bikes, kayaks, and dog products. Most product comes from Asia. Mass tariffs will raise my prices and take away people’s spending for recreation and discretionary items. Will add $500 to an e-bike. If these do not get rolled back I will be forced to close.
