Guns, suing to get women's medical records from other states, maternal death rates so high the numbers are suppressed at election time, some of the highest personal property taxes in the US, power grid so bad that the Gov asked people to keep the thermostat below 78. "Not nuts." Huh.

This has been happening in rural towns for decades. The impacts are right there to be seen, if anyone cared to look. Just as the Republican plans for Medicare, Medicaid & SNAP were right there in Project 2025.

All anyone had to do was look at Project 2025/Agenda 47. The information was available.

It makes sense. That $280M in artillery is corporate welfare for US arms companies. Millionaire/billionaires get their pockets lined & grandma/grandpa can end up on the streets. It started with Reagan/Gingrich, Republicans just carried on.

The Olympics should be boycotted anyway. It's not safe to enter the US.

Not to mention that only 3 months ago, US intelligence was saying that Iran was NOT a threat for nuclear weapons at this time.

He did practice escalations during the George Floyd protests. And Project 2025 specifically talked about Magats desire to put the military in US cities. So no one should be surprised.

What a wonderful lead in to the 250th anniversary of US Army! Our parents joined the National Guard in the 30's and ended up fighting against the Nazi's. Their grandchildren/great-grandchildren are deploying in the streets of the US in support of Nazi's. Way to go.

I think discussions of the male loneliness epidemic are one of the few times when it's appropriate to respond with "but not all men".

Around 20% of Iowa residents are on Medicare. Those are the people she is supposed to represent. She's a ghoul.

When all of their assets are transferred to the billionaires buying everything up for cheap & they are desperate, who do they think is going to be doing the jobs of all of those immigrants? They (& their children thanks to the rollback of child labor laws) will do those thankless jobs for pennies.

If you don't have to take the risk, don't take the risk. When US citizens are worried about returning to the US after travelling internationally, rethink your choice.

If there is "blame" to be had outside of the people who are breaking the law with impunity, I'm putting it on the 50% of voting age US citizens who could not be bothered to cast a vote.

Don't fall for it, as seen under the current Trump administration, it's just a way to divert your money to billionaires after some market manipulation.

I'm nervous about re-entering the US after travel as a citizen. I wouldn't risk it if I was not a citizen. It's not worth it. There are other places to visit.

When Trump crashes the economy for real, a fair chunk of people won't have a choice. They'll work in unsafe conditions for poor pay. And given that Trump is also attacking public education, factory or field work or the military is all they will be fit for.

That song has been on my mind for months. For the oligarchs getting ready to buy everything up at discount, it's the dream. Peons owing their soul to the company store.

I've been saying all along this was the end game. There will be a wave of family farm losses. And those people can either go to work for the large corporations that buy up the land or leave. With nothing. All because their fear grounded in racism & misogyny > than their survival instinct.

All of those "long-time Republicans who were going to vote for Kamala" was a lie. The MAGAs suffering the consequences & crying about it now is all performative. They would still vote the same way they did on Nov 5. Their racism/misogyny is so much a part of them that it's > than any repercussion.
