Having some emotions about leaving the school I’ve been teaching at for a decade. The thing that got me today at graduation was finding out that the senior boys voted to give me the Grand Canyon rock hammer—the first time they’ve voted to give it to a woman. I love those kids!

I've been psychoanalyzing my M:I obsession & a piece of it is DEFINITELY that the first M:I was also the first movie I saw in a theater without my parents. Plus, I was 13 and there was something about Tom Cruise's whole vibe that entranced me, but I still haven't finished psychoanalyzing that.
