There are a few seniors graduating this year at my school whom I taught as freshmen and then again as juniors/seniors, and I feel like I’ve seen them go from immature little kids to awesome young adults and I’m 100% going to cry when they get their diplomas.

Oh I also use a circle! I do both! I just find that live mind-mapping helps everyone generate more connected ideas. Some kids need to see it visually to better track the concepts being thrown around.
