I am an enjoyer of things. I typically play Overwatch and whatever other game peeks my interest for the week. I'm also a big fan of D&D and the Forgotten Realms setting.

In Skyrim there’s a quest from an orc stronghold where the orc chief you’re escorting betrays you. The chief tries to kill you, but I cast Pacify on him to take us out of combat. Finished the quest and brought him back to the stronghold. Everyone refers to him like he’s dead, but he’s alive and well

I’m sure you’ll do fine! I feel like a bit of awkwardness is always expected with improv.

I don’t know, I don’t think I look unattractive, I just don’t like how I look. I feel awful about it, and want to start changing. I’ve never really been into self care stuff before, since it always seemed so expensive, but if I can DIY it then it would be a lot of fun!

I’d like to really get into self-care. Skincare, hair care, anything that’s fun and would help make me pretty (God knows I need it)

Statistically, the religion you grew up with is probably wrong. I don’t care if it’s popular it’s likely wrong just because of the amount of other religions out there. Live a good life. Be a good person. And don’t harass people for believing different from you. It’s a complicated situation.

Most people end up just believing what their parents believe. Nothing wrong with that, but if they got the “wrong” religion then they’re kinda screwed. If it was clear cut, “hey I am thee God and this is what following me looks like” then it wouldn’t be a problem. But it’s complicated and not clear.

Because it’s not obvious which religion is the “right one”. And even within religions like Christianity, there’s a whole lot of denominations since people can’t agree on anything. And most of the time they’re united under loving Jesus but they can also fight a lot.

So either
A: God made the world like a Saw game
or
B: The world doesn’t work like that
And if God made the world like a Saw game, then they’re not a God worth serving. That is not a Good God. So, at least for me, what makes sense is option B. I don’t think you’ll be eternally damned for skepticism

And if you don’t believe correctly, eternal damnation? You gotta be certain and then you gotta pick the right one? In this world where it’s not obvious at all and there’s a lot of decisions? That isn’t the work of a loving god, that’s a Saw game.

In the end, I believe the God of our world is a good God. And so I shall live my best life for whoever that God might be. The thought that God would damn someone eternally for being unsure when there are a lot of different beliefs just doesn’t make sense to me.

And people can make mistakes, I don’t think it’s malicious by nature. Mistranslations happen. But that’s why we should apply logic to the situation. Like, why would an all loving God send “His” people to kill “evil people”. They’re all his children. I think it’s odd how he randomly favors one nation

We can’t know everything obviously, but we should try and figure things out when we can. The Bible is old and has been translated over many different languages for centuries. This is an unpopular opinion, but I think it’s foolish to think the Bible hasn’t been changed even slightly.

And I don’t think “We don’t understand the ways of God” is a good argument. I was always told that whenever I questioned anything. “You can’t question God so stop thinking about it” was pretty much the answers I always got. But we should think about it, and we should question. That’s how we learn.

Why would a loving God, who cares for all of his children, endorse it? It sounds to me like the people just wanted to believe their god was on their side for a boost of morale. “The people and practices we do are good and the stuff other people do that we don’t know are bad”.

One thing in particular was the way that the Old Testament was told. There were so many wars that were happening. I felt like it was a constant thing, especially in Chronicles. This was before the Good News came into the world. So if these people died then they wouldn’t be saved by the Hebrew God.

Like, I find celebrities hot. Like, damn, Chris Hemsworth. I can admit attractiveness. Am I going to destroy my relationship for a one night stand with him? No! It’s the action that destroys, not the thought.

I do not understand those who lust over physical attractiveness to the point of breaking relationships. Unless that relationship was built on lust in the first place. Love whoever you want, but keep your lust in track. It’s not called a deadly sin for nothing.

My two cents? Don’t have sex out of lust. Have sex out of love. You love someone so much that you want to have that physical proof of vulnerability with them. How beautiful such a thing is! To love someone so much that you’re willing to show them all your physical weaknesses to make them happy.
