The VAR official tried so hard to disallow the Beto goal & then decided Madley should 'Look' again the penalty and then failed to show the ref all the relevant angles! These mistakes need external scrutiny or the inevitable 'He's a Manc' shouts start to sound more convincing. Media failing on this.

This is what happened in Europe in the 1920's and 1930's. Easy answers to complex problems, answers that played to many peoples natural fear and hatred toward the 'Other'. We are heading for a very dark place & sadly it seems unstoppable. Many I speak to are expressing previously unspeakable views.

John, sometimes I think Everton fan media can be rabid, they know the business model for engagement and rage makes money. True fan media would not keep calling our players shite and destroying support for the players. I have worked in broadcasting. Our fan media is not healthy. Fan media, do better!
