For those unfamiliar: 5-6C is probably the end of human life. Not in a "we'll have really bad wars and be really poor and not get to live in nice houses" way (that's 3-4C), but in the sense of "the seas may very likely no longer sustain to the plankton that make most of the oxygen we breathe" way.
