Just long enough and severe enough for voters to rout Trump and the GOP at the midterms
comment in response to post
There was a golden chance to remove him on November 5th. But 77 million fools threw that chance away. The only hope now is that Trump fails. Spectacularly. Yes,it will cause pain for everyone. Not just MAGA. But it's the only way now. Otherwise America will never rid itself of this cancer

MAGA have to feel pain themselves before they wake up to what Trump really is. Most people have at least some consideration for the pain of others. But that requires empathy. Of which MAGA has little to none

She actually makes sense in her criticizing of Trump's attack. This wasn't on my bingo card

How many Americans will do what they did in 2003 - and support the fire? Frankly,America's track record on this isn't good...

Will depend on the extent of the damage to the 3 sites. If not catastrophic, maybe some limited retaliation. If outright obliterated, then all bets are off

Trump using a pretext,or staging something far worse,to cancel the midterms is a distinct possibility. As for being ready, I'm not so sure. Many are sleepwalking

This attack was unprovoked. If things get bad,it's because Netanyahu and Trump started this war

Trump knows full well that Congress doesn't have the guts to challenge him.Impeachment? GOP are already lining up to congratulate him. Trump's been blithely ignoring the law for all of his miserable life. He's still getting away with it. Only thing that will possibly bring him down is Mother Nature

I've been briefed on the intelligence - there is no evidence Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States. That makes this attack illegal. Only Congress can declare preemptive war.

If Iran is smart - and they are - they'll avoid attacking the US directly (which would give Trump an excuse to escalate). And,instead, turn their fury on the ones who STARTED this war - Netanyahu's Israel. It's about time Israel faced the consequences of its actions

Possibly

False. US intelligence agencies AND the International Atomic Energy Agency have publicly said that Iran is NOT close to having a nuclear weapon. Even Trump's own Cabinet minister,Tulsi Gabbard, has said this. Netanyahu started this war to keep himself in power. He's an evil war criminal

Is Iran is smart - and they are - they'll avoid attacking US bases, interests. And,instead, launch a massive attack on Tel Aviv. After all,it was Netanyahu who started this war
comment in response to post
And this as well. The Iranians have long threatened to do this if attacked. Now that that has happened,a blockade seems very likely. Apparently they can do this quite easily
comment in response to post
I would imagine a massive retaliatory strike on Tel Aviv. After all,it was Netanyahu who started this war

Trump knows that Congress will do nothing Republicans are already lining up to praise him for the attack

I hope everyone who voted for this monster all burn in Hell

Many MAGA opposed a strike on Iran. I wonder if Trump has made a fatal political error here. He may have sewn the seeds of his own defeat

Iran will retaliate. And America media will call THEM the aggressor. The US is going to find that Iran is a far stronger opponent than Iraq was. And,frankly, the Iranians have a right to retaliate - this attack was completely unprovoked

Meanwhile,Tulsi Gabbard is looking rather good in all this. Wasn't on my bingo card...

Assuming that there actually are any historians around in 2050. A big assumption at this point
comment in response to post
Iran will likely hit Israel with a massive strike. Netanyahu started this war. Israel will now be dragged into a devastating war because they didn't remove him from office
comment in response to post
Iran will retaliate with everything they have now. And,quite frankly, who could blame them? Even Tulsi Gabbard has said that Iran is not developing nukes. US intelligence agencies and the IAEA have said the same thing. This is Netanyahu's war, manufactured to stay in power. And Trump fell for it🙄
