Do remember that Cuomo was supposed to end up winning the first round vote, just not 50%. This result is completely the opposite of what was expected. And it appears that Mamdani may just win it on the second or third round, which i don't think anybody saw.

The lack of planning for the post-Trump era worries me. Yeah, we win, then what? There should already be work underway to put together a plan. It shouldn't be secret. People want to know how this ends. This needs to answer questions down to what happens when cabinet secs are impeached, etc.

I understand some folks' desire for Mamdani and Kahlil to have an event together. But realize that in this moment, anything but focusing on Cuomo is a distraction. Mamdani doesn't need any other headlines other than how he's surging. He's gotten this far through a masterful AOC-like campaign.
