Just Google Minnesota fraud and the list goes on and on and with NO accountability. No government employee lost their job although the fraud was easy to see if one looked for it. One could believe that “civil servants” may of been complicit.

Governments and religions from the dawn of time have done much worse to protect power and wealth. Do not them absolve themselves for their crimes against humanity. At least capitalists have provided almost all people with a better standard of living…

You mentioned hate crimes-not me, but that would too difficult for you to acknowledge. You don’t believe “hate crimes” draw more media attention per occurrence, I can only believe my eyes and ears. Your last nonsensical *point* deserves no response.

Do you really try and label every person you interact with? That must be exhausting…

Trans person attacked - headlines on the national news. Straight white male attacked - crickets… Yet, trans are invisible. Hate crime - don’t get me started. To minimize a crime because it didn’t happen to a trans, black, gay, etc. person is the opposite of equal treatment under the law.

Unlike you, I don’t look for straight, trans, gay people. I just see people, not labels. Try it sometime, you may find it refreshing. The only time I recognize people as being trans, are when they are waving a sign in someone’s face.

Day of visibility? I’ve never seen a group of people run around yelling “look at me, look at me” more, unless it’s the Kardashian’s.

I’d take the money and vote anyway I pleased. Thank you very much…

So, he sold one asset to by another. Self dealing? Ever sell your home to buy another. Is the Orange man in the room with you? How many Orange men do you see? LOL

How much time has Tim Walz spent in Minnesota since the convention? I’m certain that the state is picking up some of the tab while he ignores the large problems facing the state.

I have as little contact with government bureaucracy as is possible. Most of my interactions have been distasteful, with “public servants” who make it very clear that they don’t want to be there and have nothing but disdain for the public. Yes, bloated government bureaucracy is the enemy.

Here is the IRS data again. Please tell me how the middle class are paying so much in taxes.

And wouldn’t the rich be taxpayers? Yet, you feel the need to bite the hand that feeds you.

Sacrifices? They throw temper tantrums when told to come back into the office after five years and asked to show how productive they’ve been. Technology and AI will make most of them obsolete in a few years and then they may have to fend for themselves in the private sector. The horror…

I’m glad they are not going anywhere. They pay billions in taxes. Otherwise you would have to. Musk paid $11B in 2021. I don’t care if they care about me and I don’t think any politician cares about me beyond my vote. You don’t like capitalism, yet it paid for all of your government jobs.

I “defend” the rich because they are paying a vast majority of taxes and still choose to stay in the US, although people like you seem to hate them. They could become expats and take their wealth to countries that appreciate them. So who is paying most of the taxes if it is not the rich and corps?
comment in response to post
I hear the term “fair share” bantered around a lot, but never defined. Can you define it for me? And while you’re at it can you tell me why 25% tariffs are bad, but increasing corporate rates are good? Define rich. I’m retired and getting back my SSI payments. I’m probably around the 50 percentile

I call BS. No one is supposed to know how anyone else votes. BTW - Harris/Walz lost by 120,000 votes.

Space X just rescued two astronauts, where Boeing failed. They should get new contracts. Merit based.

NGO’s and non-profits are the biggest scams that no one is talking about. Top executives make $ millions while all of money that flows into and out of these organizations is not taxed. You stated (incorrectly) that the rich and corps don’t pay very much in taxes, I’m showing you otherwise.
comment in response to post
Clearly not the IRS. I’m not sure who the OECD is, but here is actual IRS data. Who is being lied to? BTW - I said Federal Income taxes. I don’t know why you threw in all of the other data, but it doesn’t disprove my point.
comment in response to post
Facts OK, here is one. The top 10% of earners pay about 75% of Federal income taxes. You’ve spent your whole life getting a check from a non-tax paying organization and you complain that corporations don’t pay enough taxes. WOW Public service doesn’t mean lifelong employment.

I worked in the private sector and if fraud was occurring to that degree people would lose jobs. Didn’t happen in Minnesota. No one was accountable. I’m tired of hearing that they do good work when the actual numbers of children fed vs. the amount of money spent doesn’t. Experts my ass…

Destroying? I’ve seeing nothing about destroying SS, Medicare, or even Medicaid. Forcing these civil servants to become more efficient or even show up to the office is not destroying anything other than the sense of entitlement that I see in my limited interaction with bureaucrats.

If Musk wanted to make more $, he would be spending his time on Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter, where he gets much more bang for his time spent. I get it - you believe rich people are bad, but they pay a LARGE majority of income taxes paid. Sorry, but it’s true.
comment in response to post
OK, so you believe that all (or most) F, W, and A is caught. I don’t. I live in MN and there has been over $610,000,000 of just fraud has been discovered in the past couple of years. The amount of $ that went out the door with incompetent oversight is outrageous. Thanks Walz…

You will never convince me that SSI doesn’t meet the definition of a Ponzi scheme, but whatever. The fact is that it is running out of money and something needs to done. Cutting down on fraud, waste, and abuse is a place to start. Who and how do they benefit from it being dismantled?
comment in response to post
All I’m trying to say is that SSI is a Ponzi scheme. One that has been abused by Congress and used as a ”piggy bank” by legislators to fund pork barrel spending, while the Federal debt spirals out of control. How does this end? My guess is not good.
comment in response to post
Ida May Fuller was one of the few that was enriched at the expense of the many. My father never got a dime from SSI. He died at 42. Ida got over 1,000 times her “investment”. Again sounds like a Ponzi scheme to me. The only difference being that one is government mandated and one is not.
comment in response to post
No, but I read The Wall Street Journal. Does that count? Please explain to me what a Ponzi scheme is then.
comment in response to post
SSI is the literal definition of a Ponzi scheme. New “investors” funds are being being used to pay the “benefit's” of older “investors. That my friend is a Ponzi scheme…

How about those absentee dads? They are the low of the low. Is your point that it should be the taxpayers problem? Why have unwed mothers mushroomed in the past 50 years, especially in the black community. Easy access to free birth control, abortions, and free food have only made it worse.
comment in response to post
You mean the government programs rife with waste and fraud. My governor Walz has overseen over $610,000,000 in fraud alone in child food, child care, and autism programs and those are just the ones that have been discovered. There are most certainly more. I guess you fine with no accountability.

Is it written in the law that a person must pass a vision test to get a permit? If not, then denying a permit because of a perceived vision issue is against the ADA. It appears that he wants it both ways. He can claim an issue whether he gets a permit or not.
