Good point. There isn't enough research on this (at least that I am aware of). My go to is the @ciforum.bsky.social for guidance on effective collaboration.

#Apprenticeships offer a great route to pass on key skills to a new generation of #heritage practitioners. If you are in a local authority heritage team this discussion will be a great opportunity to find out how.

Sadly I never got to tell him that, but as it happened Bristol Uni gave Don Cupitt an honorary degree in 1985 at the same ceremony I got my BA.

Yes, and it was the most formative influence on my own faith. It was where I learned that it's OK to ask questions. Started rewatching The Sea of Faith today.

To update the role reversal that is a feature of #Saturnalia why not take a moment to ask your favourite #AI how *you* can help *it* 😊

Amanda, you might like to try looking up some Starter Packs to find accounts to join. There's a brilliant directory of them - link in the post pinned to my profile.

Ah, I've just found the builder of the amazing Bluesky Starter pack directory 📂. Kudos and gratitude to @mubashariqbal.com . There's over 1000 🏺 Archaeology/Archeology Starter Packs listed so search on something specific.

The images of #NotreDame burning five and a half years ago was a turning point in #heritage skills discussion. It made so very clear the need for skilled craft workers, masons, carpenters to look after heritage. So pleased to see it restored.

Fascinating - I look forward to reading this in more detail. My undergrad dissertation was on the continuity of boundaries in the landscape over a similar period, in this part of England. Continuity is the norm 'far from the madding crowd'

Welcome Susan! I don't think CIFA has set up an account here yet, but there's plenty of CIFA folk around.

Amazing! Do you think this would have been thought of as a particularly artistic piece by the original scribe, like we might view a piece of calligraphy? Or was it just another list of sheep etc...😊

Bob, no, you can't drop a fact like that and not follow up on the detail 😊. Zen or ORAC? #Blakes7

A brilliant visualisation of #archaeology data, but also an insight into the course of an ancient battle.

One really striking image from the article is this analysis of the location and nature of presumed battle injuries from multiple individuals on to one skeleton.
