Ohh! Arak cocktail sounds delightful, what is it mixed with?
I am after some interesting recipes for arak/rakı for quite a while but not much luck..

2nd place goes to #BrunoRocca & #Vajra - even though Freisa 2022 was disappointing 🍷
Both companies were represented by female family members who tell the story of their wines from the heart and engage sincerely.

Protestors are outside the Victoria 10, spraying the Allianze building with red paint in #Bristol city centre 🇬🇧
The action group is demanding immediate cease of collaboration with the Israeli arms giant Elbit.
Unbelievable how many police are here.

Let's start with a #negroni flood:
Over the years, I’ve explored endless #Gin–#Amaro–#Vermouth combos in pursuit of the never-the-same-twice Negroni ✨️
Today’s unconventional trio:
Cambridge Gin – #Cynar – Carpano Antica Formula

Last year I joined Consejo's trip, but sadly Obalo wasn’t one of the bodegas we visited.
Hopefully, we can taste some wine together next time 🍷

Sounds awesome! I'm looking forward to finding an excuse to come back to Logroño!
BTW I really enjoy following Rioja vineyards/landscapes via your 📸
Hope you'll have a wonderful season, bumper crop, and a great harvest 🍇 🍷 (and I'll get to taste it!)

While taking a prop-plane back to Glasgow I was feeling very grateful, inspired, and now even more in love with #Islay.
This is a must visit for every #whisky lover.

Make sure to plan your trip to include the 3 Distilleries Hike 🚶♀️
(Soon to be 4 distilleries :))

My #Islay top 4:
Coolest drams on tasting ➡️ #Ardbeg
Best prices for special drams ➡️ #Bruichladdich
Easy to go with nice views on the tasting area ➡️ #Bowmore
Overall the best experience ➡️ #Laphroaig

What followed was two unforgettable days of #peat -scented air, blooming heather, surprise sunshine hikes, and tasting a new #whisky nearly every hour—right where it’s made.
I got to visit 6 distilleries including #Ardbeg, #Lagavulin, #Laphroaig, #Bruichladdich, #PortCharlotte and #Bowmore

I set foot on #Islay under pouring rain, with no transfers in sight, I had to begin the trip in the best way possible: at a cozy bar with three welcoming drams 🥃
Port Askaig Hotel Bar is defo recommended, too!

My excitement peaked as the ⛴️ approached Port Askaig—I could already spot #CaolIla, #Bunnahabhain, and #Ardnahoe along the shoreline!

Quick stop in #Oban to have a look around and grab some lunch before ⛴️ to #Islay.
Don't miss the #oyster shed on the harbour—bring your own whisky!

Following morning 🚆 to #Oban was simply magical with astonishing views of lochs and breathtaking landscapes.
We couldn't help but played our train game on the train, though!

After a loong 🚆 ride from Bristol to #Glasgow, we spent the night visiting a few bars, in other words, temples!
Highly recommend Piper, for an extensive #whisky list as well as delicious bar food.
And the Pot Still probably being the most famous one, comes with 💸 prices and was really busy.

Finally for those that haven’t been keeping up with Wine costs, did you know that 50% of a bottle of wine in a retail shop priced at £10 is tax. The wine industry thinks this is wrong but the government doesn’t care. You’re be getting £1.70 worth of wine on that £10. Makes you think doesn’t it!
