Not that I know of, where you hear that?

Yeah its a concern, he can't get going.

Yeah bit like Prior very much a shut down role so hard to stand out. But yeah I don't think he is really in contention

He has been training, but he isn't officially an SSP train on player so he can't play in the AFL game. Baldwin and Edwards are our only SSP officially train on player (can only have 2 per list spot)

Didn't take note of him. To be honest if he plays AFL this year we are in trouble

Johnson - shoulder injury, so no contact training but a smooth mover, could be sneaky good 👀 Day-Wicks - club really happy with him, class, small injury set back, don't know what position he plays though Nguyen - powerful small unit, again a small injury but has a lot of tools to work with.

The kids: Kako - a lock, body is ready, just needs the experience Gerreyn - great skills, lacks some endurance and needs to develop fwd craft but exciting. Clarke - just needs a body but will be a player no doubt Unwin - smokey to play games, high agility, HFF his role, work up and back

Concerns Goldy - dropped off the pace. Menzie - just not seeing much improvement but is looking fitter. Parish - little to no pre season, apart from some running. But he has a base to go off. Cox - total wipe out, will lack any fitness, a way back. Hard to see improvement with no pre-season.

Break out contenders: Tsatas - stronger in the body, kicking vastly improved, clearance machine. Perkins - really good 6 weeks, more involved, we have been teased b4, can he bring consistency? Reid - just needs to stay fit ⭐️ Davey - unlucky to get injured, but has come back with a point to prove

Career best pre-season: Draper a stand-out, less goofy and more serious, improved fwd craft. Big year ahead Bryan - stronger, a lot fitter, marking has improved.

Injury news: - Lav, McKay, Rids, Duz, Caddy, Jones all rehab but only look a week or so away. Should all play vs Cats - Cox and Johnson ran some laps, Nguyen and ADW not far away from main training - Guelfi ran laps (strange as we thought he was in for surgery???) - No Parish sighting 🤷‍♂️

- Saad was wing on A team over Roberts - Bryan and Draper combo picked over Wright - Hayes in the A team as no McKay, Lav or Rids participated - Reid really stood out in defense, all you can say is 🤞body wise - Setters seemed to tag Tsatas in the first half which is a compliment to the kid. 2/3

Maybe sore around the ribs

Nice to meet you today, Craig. Yeah, he is a lot more assured with ball in hand now. Hopefully, he has a good year in the VFL and can push for another contract
comment in response to post
Very true. Hoping it's an intentional slow build for Darcy rather than a hiccup maybe at the end of last year. Hard to tell, but he is moving fine now.

- Saad vs Roberts it seems for a wing spot both spent time in the A team. I have Saad in front - Clarke and Gerreyn other 2 draftees that showed something - Lual involved more and with confidence Ball movement more aggressive than last year. Inside 50s still need work. Final intraclub next Sat

Stand outs: - Draper and Bryan ruck and fwd tandom, both kick 2 goals each. Wright lined up in the B team, but didn't do much wrong. -Tsatas and Merrett best mids. Martin floated around everywhere - Shiel great again off HB. - Kako busy - Perkins high impact touches - Ried composed down back 2/3

Kako is a lock
comment in response to post
Shiel could play back too, he is looking really good there. More options are half back now which should release Marto

50% chance. It's Bryan vs Wright for a spot as I see it. Draper is a lock. Whoever plays well in the practice games will get first crack I think
comment in response to post
Yeah unfortunately Goldy doesn't seem at AFL level anymore, but maybe it was to save soft cap money to have him stay on as coach/experience in the locker room

Observations - Gerreyn building in confidence, very smooth mover - Perkins has had a good 3 weeks, high involvement - Prior training a more a lock down deep defender - Bryan has put a big gap on Goldy now as 2nd ruck - Reid and Wright continue to have a good 1v1 battle Sat 9am next session

Injury update - Jones not in moon boot but didn't train - Ridley and Parish ran laps - McKay increasing involvement - Caldwell in and out of drills - No Guelfi or Cox sighted - Caddy modified training
comment in response to post
Injury update - Davey missed - knee injury is the word. - Ridley walked laps, looked very stiff, hoping only a back spasm. - Jones went off with a rolled ankle. - Redman, Langers and Parish missed due to a wedding. - Hobbs, Caldwell, Durs, Johnson only modified training - No Day-Wicks or Nguyen 3/3

- Shiel impressive off half back, might push Roberts out of the side who isn't really standing out. - Setters, Byran Merrett, Marto all good. - Wright started in the B team then moved to the A team, was better today, but has a battle on his hands with Draper for a fwd spot if we go with Bryan. 2/3

For me, he hasn't impressed enough to be added to the list. But there are 3 match sims to go for him to push his case.
comment in response to post
One may be cut or they could get around it as Sellers and Hoare are VFL listed players.

The Iraqi Popeye

To be honest, he hasn't stood out, tracking about the same. But he was with the A team yesterday. Hoping to see a bit more from him in the next few weeks
comment in response to post
Yeah might have been the u18 grand final
comment in response to post
Yeah agree, could be a smokey to play some games this year, has a refined role (high half fwd) and he has some moves! Scott was chatting to him in between qtrs, which means he rates him and sees potential (Brad generally lets the development coaches do that)

Draftees - Unwin, impressed with dash and agility to zip in and out - Kako very dangerous - Gerreyn some impressive plays and marks - Clarke solid defensively Room for improvement - Wright lacked confidence, dropped marks - Menize not much involvement - Hoare vs Baldwin - no one saying pick me
comment in response to post
Draper, Hobbs, Davey, Setters, SSP players, other draftees- B team Impressed- - Tsatas again our best mid - Setters really good - Davey best for reds, tackled, went in hard Great to see - Jones present well, Caddy lively - Martin everywhere - Rids back to his old self - Draper kicked a few snags
comment in response to post
- Guelfi slow laps - Cox and Nguyen not training - Johnson only modified training. - Parish and Caldwell trained but pulled out when match sim started. Just cautious approach with them. Match sim notes Black A team vs Red B team. Tstats, Prior, Shiel, Bryan, Kako, Roberts - A team
