Across 6 months, my sisters and I have gotten mostly nowhere navigating the VA for our hospitalized Dad. We engaged local office(s) & national reps. To hear that it will be even more trying is a slap in the face to those who served & their families.

I like the clarification that someone made recently about DEI in that it ensures meritocracy for all persons. It doesn't undermine it, as anti-DEI types insinuate. Yes, a goal is to further disenfranchise persons with disability(ies) when we're already pushed out of so much in public life.
