Lost Albertan doing an Applied Econ PhD at the University of Minnesota. I try to study the Economic History of Agriculture, and regularly get my heart broken by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Today, Prince is honoured throughout Canada. Several streets are named for him, as is Sgt. Tommy Prince School in Scanterbury, Manitoba.
A Heritage Minute was also released about his life.
He was on the shortlist to appear on Canada's $5 bill.

Northwest Passage - Stan Rogers (1981):
The fourth album from Rogers, it was heavily focused on the life and history of the Canadian West. It was his last album released before his sudden death on June 2. 1983. It featured his iconic song Northwest Passage.

I now desperately want the Journal of Economic History to require everyone to link to a folk song for their papers⦠and more importantly to create a playlist.

Iām going to present some work in which I try to figure out why wheat yields donāt seem to have improved much during an Era we refer to as the Wheat Boom. Hopefully I have a good answer for this ācliff hangerā by the conference šš¬

Ironically Iām currently working on a project where I very much wish I could do that. Unfortunately, the farmers in question donāt seem to pick up the phone much because the planting decisions I want to ask about occurred in 1901.

Pre-docs are so competitive these days.
It's a shame, these mushrooms seem to be so talented at natural log transformations.
