Yes!! That would be so helpful for aspiring authors. And demystify the idea that getting published is just about talent, not about hard work and persistence - sometimes decades of it (it’s also about luck and reaching out to the right agent at the right time etc.)

I started filtering agents by response rate. Some get literally thousands of queries and only request 1 or 2 full MS a YEAR. Good to know, right?
Not that I’ve had better luck with those who respond… but one can hope. Premium subscription on QT is ‘only’ $25 &a must-buy imo

Thank you 😢 I agree, it’s disheartening that a lot of success stories depend on a query being seen by the right person at the ‘right’ time. Agents are human beings too - sometimes you’re more receptive than others. I’ll keep at it - no choice really 💪

Totally! Writing scenes in order keeps me motivated. That way I can be excited about my favorite scenes coming up soon (and write the scenes before them FASTER lol)
