And if the person in the box room has the money for it then they have a deposit for a house. This is surely just going to provide rental opportunities - if the legislation doesn't allow for this, you'll see some going to rent and outside of that, a very low uptake in it.

From ~€90 to ~€105 last year, and another jump to €139.90 a year later. @newstalkfm.bsky.social do another segment on dodgy boxes please.

No answer from govt rep on Newstalk this morning to the question of how, in Nov with 1 month to go in the year - the housing minister could still be saying 40k house would be built - given they should know at that stage how many had been built already. Pure gaslighting.

I love innovations and all but I hate the club's promotion of it - in case it goes arseways. Reminds me of when Ten Hag said "eras come to an end"..... I just cringed. Everytime we hit what we think is rock bottom, non MUFC friends say to me "remember when X did / said Y - that aged well"......

Amorim's said lack of goals a team issue, not a single player issue. Has his system so my reading of it is, improvements (which have to come) around pitch will lead to strikers scoring. Buying another lad won't provide goals when rest the team can't get the ball to strikers that we already have.

Yep I think we need to accept where we are this season and next. We've overspent since 2014 just to try make top 4 without actually competing in the big comps. An actual reset is needed and what we're seeing is now part of that reset.

Can confirm having worked with many for years they never (not once) gave consideration to glare / lighting comfort (i.e. good lighting design) when selecting luminaries. Once it looked good in a 3D graphic for the client, to hell with how it made users feel after sitting in it for 8+ hours a day.

Sick and tired of this gombeen nonsense. Lads: yiz signed up for it. Get with the actual and literal programme! Ye were the ones crowing about the "crazy" Greens when they WERE in government and now you want to sit on opposition benches while also being in government. Fuck right off.

Can remember seeing them parked up on Westmoreland St in the days when I got the bus from there to Cork. ~18 odd years ago now. Haven't seen one since.

And then I started thinking, what if that's what ghosts are? Me in the pandemic, wandering around a strangers bookshelf in VR, in my jocks and a headset in Limerick. And then some poor fucker in beverly hills three years ago has to sell his house because books keep flying off the shelf.

Ha. Happy to pass it on. It's the same list I send to US colleagues when they're over. The easiest thing for folks to do is head straight for Temple Bar but the quality of the pint plus the cost turns some people off it. I'd rather folks visit a more reasonably priced (& better quality stout) bar.

Temple Bar (the area) worth a visit but Guinness ranges (IMO) from ok to decent but at a very high price. Barring 1 & 11 above, the others are either just outside Temple Bar or an easy walk away from the area. Better Guinness at a lower price, with a still great atmosphere.
