"Earth’s big stabilizers – Greenland’s ice, the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, the Atlantic overturning circulation, and the Amazon rain forest – behave much like the keystones in an arch. Dislodge one and the entire structure can shift." ~ Eric Ralls.

TL;DR. #Genocide, bad. Brothers not sharing birthright, bad for everyone. Mom's who meddle, also bad. Dads who give out birthrights to only one of two twin sons, definitely bad. I mean seriously, Isaac. Why'd you do that? Malachi 1:3. My favourite verse of the Bible. There's also Romans 9:13.

Well, guess fucking what? Jacob's descendants, via Judah and Judea, are killing a lot of Philistines, excuse me, Palestinians right now. The world has been told to act normal. Nothing to see here. They'll work it out. They'll leave the Edomites alone. Surely.

Jacob's mom tells him to take off after they hear Esau is pissed. Esau is feeling murderous. Like when Ruth Langmore goes after Javier. So, after years, Esau and Jacob reconcile after Esau moves to the south. The Book of Jubilees apocrypha tells a different story. Jacob kills Esau in the end.

Esau had planned to say, "Jacob, the birthright is mine. God says." Nope. That's not how it worked out. Or, maybe even share the birthright. But no, this is what the Bible says happened. Jacob, with his mom's guidance, impersonated Esau and STOLE the birthright from their BLIND, dying father. Gen 27

I admit, Esau, perhaps lazily, did sell his birthright. And, that he may have relied on a proud, ignorant lean on "law" to restore his birthright bears a strange parallel to the behaviour of the #Right. God's laws, man's laws, all laws, reinterpreted favouring profit, influence, capital & power.

Little did Esau know his twin brother, the one who held on to his ankle at birth, would found a nation. He, Esau, had God hate him. This book isn't biased at ALL.

Esau said, "Sure." and ate the red lentils. Esau was a redhead. Red all over. And hairy. Jacob (literally Israel), #madethedeal. Little perfect Jacob. Hebrew progenitor.

Esau sold his #birthright for a bowl of lentils. That's the story. His twin brother, minutes younger, proposed the deal. Esau, asshole that he is, takes the deal. Maybe he didn't mean it. Maybe it was a joke. Maybe he figured he was secure enough under the law that a verbal contract didn't matter.

Esau, as far as I can tell, was an asshole. A Biblical-scale, God selected, asshole. Who the fuck was Esau? To be singled out by God like this. Like Abraham, or Moses, or Adam. Or Lot's wife.

It'll be AGES for our collective consciousness to recover from this. Not one shred of a chance that #Gaza — without Palestinians — is anything other than a graveyard. With Palestinians, it is a monument. A remembrance. #RemembranceDay #MemorialDay #FifthofNovember

and now, with #US fucking right off, standing up to #Netanyahu IS standing up to #MAGA. This #genocide will not be excused. World leaders, admit you were wrong. Wrong. #deadflagblues.

Anti-Semitism is real. Contesting a #genocide in Gaza is not #antisemitism. It is #humanitarian. End the blockade of humanitarian aid. End the displacements. End the bombings. End the conflict. End the occupation. #FreePalestine.

I mean, Ben-Gvir was just there. When security states work together. As above, so below. It's #organic #authoritarianism. Pernicious, human tendency — security as freedom/a secured freedom — demeans the human project. Freedom. Despite insecurity. Sustain others' growth, sustain your own.

Perception is enough for detention, disappearance, and rendition. "a memo from the State Department concluded that she had not engaged in antisemitic activities or made any statements in support of terrorism[.]" Then, the State Dept. kidnapped her. #policestate #authoritarianism #orangebrickroad

3. Finally, if we were to turn your whole mass into energy: 7.6 kg x C^2 = 6.83 x 10^17 J. ...which is about the equivalent energy of a 150 MT nuclear weapon. 10 times the energy of the Castle Bravo H-bomb pictured here destroying Bikini Atoll.

Umm... a few corrections here. 1. Your mass is 7.6 kg regardless of where or when you are. On Earth, in space, it doesn't matter. 2. The calculation you did is for force or "weight" under Earth's gravitational acceleration: 74.48 kg•m/s^2 = 74.48 N. Use multiplication, not division.

The speed of light, C, is a measurement, which must include its unit. Squared, then: C^2 = (299 800 km/s)^2 = 89 880 040 000 km^2/s^2 = 89 800 040 000 000 000 m^2/s^2 Multiplying by mass in kg, you get the unit for energy, J. So, a tiny mass contains a huge amount of energy.
