Oh no, not conventionally attractive men being affectionate towards each other while destroying cars and AI shit, what a nightmare I'm scared, please RESTORE ORDER, which I guess is when everyone hates each other and the outside is automobiles.

Blatantly derivative of Ira Ishida's work, if you ask me.

“The levels of... police recorded crime are much more influenced by deep structural features of our society.” @premthakker.bsky.social speaks with civil rights lawyer @equalityalec.bsky.social on how public safety reporting focuses on legal policies rather than societal issues such as poverty.

Excited to read this.

They should invent a political party that's against fascism.

Reading @eikeexner.com's excellent "Comics and the Origins of Manga: A Revisionist History" for a paper I'm writing, and came across these great thoughts (Exner, 178-179)

As you can judge a culture's degree of civilization by its prisons, so can you judge it by its transportation.

Based Bill Burr giving the most based take

As I've said before, what we're dealing with fundamentally here, and have been dealing with for some time, is evil. Our political norms and political media prohibit talking about a mainstream political faction this way. But it is the truth. It needs to be known and it needs to be said.

THREAD. This is so cool. I just got the first copy of the FREE paperback edition of the Copaganda book. It's beautiful! We have free copies for any people in prison (easiest for prison book programs to get in bulk) and for ANY teacher who wants to have the book for their students.
