It’s just also not true. Harm reduction = things we do to reduce the risk of harm (usually in relation to an activity that has higher risks) Things such as: Drinking limits, seat belts, helmets… all harm reduction.

I like toonie parties (I’m in Canada) no gifts to open - just toonies in a jar, or open gifts later if it’s a gift party. Goodie bags can be kept simple & not wasteful, one cool thing, a treat & stickers.

Setting aside the fact that we don't have enough treatment beds for people who want to go to treatment, after this magic involuntary care... where do people go? Back to the street? We still don't have the housing needed (supportive housing or post-treatment recovery housing)
