Loved the rifter! The whole plot was super good and the world and conflicts were super interesting! Thanks so much for the recommendation. π

Oh i just realised, that I responded to "would you mind..." with "of course"!
I meant you may use it with credit. π

Of course, but if you want people to find the book with the review, it would probably be better to use the original cover. :)

That said, I use this one π a lot, just so emails look a bit softer and not so cold.

I would always keep emojis out of professional emails, unless they use them too or you get the vibe that they wouldn't mind them. :D

I got a few more recommendations overnight (thank you so much everyone!!) so here is an updated list: www.tumblr.com/eklaize/7808...

Yes, but I have to unfortunately say that I didn't connect with the characters. The prose was lovely and the ending gut-punching though!

I'm actually reading that right now! I'm going to start the third book today, it's super fun and I love the banter and relationship of Brand and Rune.

I forgot to add KJ Charles books ( because I already read some of hers), she got recommended a lot.
comment in response to

Jack is my favorite actually! I love those kind of characters.
comment in response to
post
I have to disappoint you, but I didn't connect with the characters unfortunately.π’I really did like how the ending was done though.

I really liked the short stories! The saga I dnf'd but more out of reading mood back then and not because it was bad.
comment in response to
post
I just love when characters are worried for each other and their interactions were really fun!
comment in response to
post
I have not yet actually! A friend of mine said I should NOT read "heaven's official blessings" (even thought she loved it), based on how I like characters in books.π
comment in response to
post
I got a second vote for it one on tumblr actually. :D
comment in response to

Loved Marvellous light! It hit all the right spots, the second was a bit less interesting to me because of the boat setting and I still have to read the third.
comment in response to
post
I had started it a few years back but realised I wasn't in a mood to read it back then. I definitely need to try again though!
comment in response to
post
I put it on the list! :D

Kj Charles is great! Sometimes the fluff came to easy for me at the end, that's my only problem with some of them. I haven't tried magpie lord yet though, only "the gentle art of fortune hunting" and "Think of England" (which has a horrible coverπ)
comment in response to
post
Thank you so much, I haven't heard of these before and will look them up!π
comment in response to
post
Oh sounds super fun! That might actually be something for a friend of mine as well.
comment in response to

Ha! I put "the taste of gold and iron" on my tbr list today! I already have read winter's orbit and it definitely did a lot of things right and I loved the characters, the ending just felt a bit too easy for me.

So if anyone has a recommendation, please drop it in the comments. ππ

Pacat gave all that to me, but it's hard to find in other books so far. (Freya's A Marvellous Light was one of the ones that managed to do it, the second book less so tho, haven't read the third.)
comment in response to
post
Most importantly I really want to feel what the characters experience. Can be love/deep connection, fear/panic or whatever emotion but I want to gasp or laugh when reading... It's really hard to describe.

Sorry but the polish ones have no competition.π«£ Japanese second I would say. I do own the french ones, but Damen looks a bit too thin there.
