I had a detached retina
Then that surgery caused a cataract so back in for that
Was all grand as I was knocked out for both 😬 I asked to be knocked out for all our sakes the second time … the eye and ear hospital were great. The surgeon was so lovely

I know!!! The anaesthetic can be tough on your body. I was very ill last year after eye surgery . I thought I’d burst the stitches in my eye 😬🤦♀️ was all grand though

Just had this conversation earlier. What carers do is immense and often people have to give up well paid jobs, and other precious family time for no breaks. It’s an incredibly tough job . Wishing you well
