Expect already squeezed housing affordability to worsen with a rise in construction costs across multiple categories - appliances, wood products, hardware, glass, plumbing fixtures.

A report coming out later today from @jbrec.bsky.social details the projected rise in sawmill wood product pricing from this action. Wood products will be one of the most impacted product categories, only behind appliances. Hardware, glass, and plumbing fixtures will also be heavily impacted.
