Accurate

I've never seen Canadians this pissed or united...

How cold is NYC? It's "turn your stove top on to heat up the room faster in the morning" level of cold.

It's alive! 🤩 A mini 3-node #homelab server farm. Took a couple of weeks to design and print all of the cases. Next up, all the Proxmox/Kubernetes/networking setup. (And yea, I do need to stuff the switches in a matching cube box as well at some point...)

Silo is absolutely the best show about duct tape on tv

I can count the number of truly "full stack" engineers I've met over my 10 years in dev on one hand. Doing 90% BE work and sometimes dabbling in FE does not make you a full stack engineer, and being a senior BE dev _certainly_ does not make you a senior FE dev.

"I'll just quickly swap out the motherboard for a new one, a couple of hours of work at most." 24 hours and 3 Windows reinstalls later...

Friendly reminder that Lex is an expert at pretending to be smarter and better informed than he actually is. Every interview I've seen him do on a topic I have any familiarity with has been cringeworthy. In that respect, he's not much different from Rogan, another master of rhetoric.

I usually don't care for RGB PC parts, but a clear PETG 3D printed case is making me rethink that stance.

Severance is really about Apple's internal secrecy and founder worship, right?

This reminds me so much of the Russian oligarch Berezovsky helping to get Putin elected, then trying to control him, getting kicked out of the country, etc. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_B...

Waku looks really cool. Vite-based RSC without the RSC-related limitations of RR7, and, most importantly, without the complexity of Next.js.
