I never made peace with it. I left. First to work in a clinic, then PACU. I'm happier now.

Bougainvillea is of my favorite flowers! I have it tattooed on my arm (among others)

back then tho, trans women couldn't go into the ladies room at Walmart. there's an issue of assimilation. they want the only places that we can feel safe going to the bathroom to once again be clubs and bars so they can be like "see they're degenerates who just party all the time".

the answer is no. and they won't either. no matter how many phone calls we make.
this country was (theoretically) founded on the violent overthrow of a despotic government. we can, and must, do it again if we want any semblance of a future.

i dunno this whole "call your congressperson" thing is pretty weak when the Democrats have demonstrated time and time again that fascism isn't a deal breaker for them as long as it means the left doesn't gain power.
Nazi Germany ended thru the power of the bullet, not the ballot box.

yup. the "violence is never the answer" crowd needs to realize that violence is, in fact, the answer. and soon.

also, and i'll finally just leave it at this for now, there aren't going to be MORE people on our side after years of them dismantling education and controlling the media, censoring us, and ending our first amendment rights. it's now or never.

"but there's not enough of us. we have to spread awareness" there isn't an issue with awareness. we're all incredibly fucking aware of what's happening. it's a matter of motivation and organization.

like are we really all just going to sit here lamenting the installation of a despotic kleptocracy in place of what was the United States Federal Government and not have this conversation? get it together.

"it won't change anything" "they're symptoms and not the cause" etc. sure but like, they've so wildly crossed the line of anything resembling sane, decent, or legal behavior that it's not a matter of changing the system at this point. it's a matter of justice and limit setting.

"build community" is such a vague fucking platitude at this point. like what is it going to take for people to put down their damn phones and take up arms

like if someone has an actual fucking plan of action that doesn't involve real world violence i'd love to hear it because i'm quickly starting to believe it doesn't exist

i slept for like 2 hours and now i'm wide awake ruminating on there being no way out of this situation that doesn't involve bullets.

like i recognize that if this this term (MMOGs) was popularized it would almost certainly be weaponized just like DEI and "woke" have been. regardless i like the idea of putting the ills in society that we are attempting to address front and center.

Americans need to follow Latin America more closely because "unpopular person with insane government agenda booted from office" has happened multiple times this century and most of the time it's just the army/police going "it would be a shame if you didn't leave before the protests got outta hand"

unless the postal service is compromised starting zines/mailers is a good option as well. can't stop the signal (but they sure as hell are gunna try).
