I have no words. The astounding generosity of each person who donated or shared, not to mention the organizers, matching donors, spreadsheet elves... You've changed so many lives for the better. And you've shown countless people what care and community look like, at a time when it's easy to forget.

The very first Sled Dog of the Day here on Bluesky is... Pepé! At nearly 12 years old, she continues to lead her team and came out of retirement to help musher Quince Mountain on this year's Iditarod journey. She made it to Nome with Blair in 2019! Go Pepé & Quince! #uglydogs #iditarod

There is a dog on Jenny Roddewig’s team, Honey, who proves it takes all types. Per Fb she is “too sleepy to run” between 2AM and 6AM so she sleeps in the sled bag while the rest of the team runs. I love her. #UglyDogs
